Present day systems were established in the late 1950’s by industry associations that knowingly persist in methodologies detrimental to the general public. In response, the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations & Executives formed a working group of thought-leaders (renowned practitioners, volunteers, academicians and philanthropists from around the world) to research and develop a new set of capacity-building “competencies” that empower nonprofits in ways previously thought to be impossible. We’re gathering this year to continue the revolution we call NANOE!”
