Lisa Van Zyll, our Member Relations Director, has been an essential part of our team. With more than 30 years of experience in customer service and management, she has earned a reputation as our members’ “best friend.” Lisa approaches her role with warmth, enthusiasm, and an ever-present smile, always committed to helping others. Her passion for supporting those in the nonprofit sector ensures that our members can fulfill their important missions successfully.

Lisa continues to be deeply moved by the compassion and dedication of NANOE’s members. She shares, “The person I am today has been greatly influenced by the wonderful individuals I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with over the last eight years.” Lisa is continually inspired by the commitment of those in the nonprofit world, which fuels her passion for supporting their important work.

When reflecting on her role at NANOE, Lisa says, “It’s a privilege to work alongside ‘my heroes’—the passionate men, women, children, and families in the nonprofit sector.” NANOE members often describe her as lively, approachable, and someone who consistently honors her promises. Lisa takes great pride in “identifying needs and meeting them.” Armed with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Management from the University of Phoenix, she channels her expertise into connecting people and fostering strong relationships.

Lisa Van Zyll is a steadfast champion for NANOE, and her efforts have been pivotal in shaping the organization into what it is today.

Originally from the Great Lakes State, Lisa can often be found along the Lake Michigan corridor. In her free time, she enjoys camping, traveling, capturing moments through photography, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loves exploring the outdoors and cherishing the beauty of the world around her.
