Gail Giarratano – The Tao of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – TEDxCharlotte

Gail Giarratano The Tao of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Gail Giarratano, Award Winning Nonprofit CEO and Tedx Talker, inspires leaders to consider “caring for one another” to be equivalent to the “care we extend to the earth.” Gail makes the case that we can heal the earth if we pursue this balance. Dr. Giarratano is the founder of Anchor Shred & Recycle Co. You can meet Gail Giarratano at NANOE’s 2019 Convention & Expo in Charleston, SC on March 26-27, 2019 where she will explore the fundamental role “caring” plays in driving charities to scale. Gail regards all people and the environment as created and loved by God and will prove that way we treat each other and the earth is the key to eradicating all the problems NANOE Governors have been tasked with solving.Gail’s original one-woman show, “It’s Cloudy in the West” based on family history circa 1890, toured extensively. In addition to her “existential whimsy”, Gail is the Executive Director of City Year, Columbia. City Year partners with public schools in high-need communities across the U.S. and international affiliates providing research-based student, classroom and school wide support to help students stay in school and on track to graduate. She is committed to supporting City Year’s mission to be an education-focused nonprofit that partners with public schools to help keep students in school and on track to graduate.
